Installation

Installation is as easy as 1-2-3. The modular components simply swing-lock together often without the need to enter the water. The QMP Pier System has two major components; an 8'x 3' straight pier section and a 5'x 3' connector pier with three of the same swing-lock bolt less connections for branch piers. The QMP Pier System has slots molded into the front corners of the module for legs madeto fit a standard 2"x 4" . (lumber not supplied). By simply cutting the 2"x 4" to length and locking the modules together, a pier can be constructed quickly and easily.

Adjustable Galvanized Steel legs

Adjustable Galvanized Steel legs can be easily adjusted to the changing water levels throughout the season.

Taking the pier out of the water is just as simple. It is rigid, lightweight and easy to transport and to store. Each module is constructed from highly slip resistant, grey marble colored polyethylene, providing a corrosion registrant, lifetime product.

When assembling the dock, be sure to align all three "hooks" with the three "eyes". This will ensure that when the dock is dropped into position, the hooks will not break.
It is also suggested that a rope be tied around the 2" x 4" legs, and lowered slowly down towards the water.
When manufacturing the wooden legs for the dock, assemble the bottom cross member and uprights first, and fasten the upper cross member after the uprights have been installed in the 2" x 4" holes (see Drawing 'A' )
When removing the docks from the water, a T-bar can be made for leverage to pull the docks out.( see Drawing 'B' ) Tie a rope around the loose end of the dock, and place the T-bar at the pivot point. String the rope over the T-bar, and the dock will pull out easily.
